Workshop 0819

For this workshop we created a song with our students using only inanimate objects and our recording/sequencing technology. Each student had to create their own rhythm using quarter note and quarter rest cards. They would then individually record their rhythm using an inanimate object they chose as well as some vocal add ons.

After each student was able to record a couple of their sounds, we then all came together to combine the recordings to make the song below. Enjoy!

Percussion:
Lucas – soccer ball
Mackenzie – measuring cups & spoons
Laila – spoon on can, cymbal & pot lid, whisk & pan
Julian – book drop
Jack – pencil on music stand, whisk on pot lid
Ameen – whisk, can on measuring cup
