Richard Simonds is a dedicated pianist and music educator committed to inspiring a love of music. Richard has a Bachelors in Music from Haverford College and a Masters in Piano Performance from the Mannes School of Music.
Richard has been teaching for several years in both private lesson and group class environments and prides himself in being able to meet students where they are at while incorporating their interests into the lessons. He is classically trained and brings expertise in piano performance, keyboard technique, interpretation, and chamber music, along with a strong foundation in music theory and history.
Based in New York City, Westchester, and southern Connecticut, he remains active as both a performer and teacher.
