We are super excited to introduce our very first: MUSICAL THEATER MINI COURSE! With so many talented students, it was only a matter of time before we found another way to make them shine 🙂
Join us as we embark on this journey with our amazing voice/piano instructor:
Karen Longwell!
Musical Theater is an all encompassing performance art that requires singing, dialogue, acting, and dancing so good thing Karen knows a thing or two about all of those! With over 40 years of experience under her belt, Karen has directed/choreographed and even written musicals with talent of all ages and is always eager to do more. It’s like she says:
“Life is full of artistic challenges. Say yes to everything!”
We will be starting as of SUNDAY 10/13/19 so please let us know ASAP if you’d like to join! Here are some of the details:
- Start Date: SUNDAY 10/13/19
- Location: Croton Harmon Music Academy
- Day/Time: SUNDAYS 330PM – 5PM, weekly
- Age Requirement: We will be accepting kids ages 6 – 18, maximum of 12!
- Price: $150/enrolled student, $175/non-enrolled students
- This price is for the entire 10 classes of the mini course. No extra hidden fees or charges for tickets/costumes, etc.
- There will be a performance at the end of the course which for this session will be an excerpt from the beloved musical: ANNIE!
- Casting: It is clear that not everyone can play the lead, however, we would make sure that every participant had important dialog, singing, activity or dancing that they can be proud of.
- Costumes: participants will be responsible for basic clothing – shirts, pants, shoes. Any other special costuming/props will be provided.
