Aiden Froman is a multi-instrumentalist and educator originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Active primarily in the jazz and gospel scenes, he is also an adaptable performer with experience in rock, pop, and a wide range of contemporary styles. His musical journey began at the age of nine under the guidance of his Grandfather, an early mentorship that instilled in him both a deep love of music and a commitment to passing that joy on to others.

Aiden is a graduate of the SUNY Purchase Music Conservatory, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance. While at Purchase, he studied with leading performers and educators in the New York Jazz community, honing both his instrumental technique and his understanding of music as a collaborative art form.

Since then, Aiden has become an active performer and teacher, bringing his versatility to ensembles across jazz, gospel, and popular music contexts. He is dedicated to making music accessible and inspiring for students of all ages and skill levels, reflecting the same encouragement he received as a young musician. Whether on stage or in the classroom, Aiden continues to build a career centered around creativity, community, and the lifelong joy of making music.

Composer/musician/band you’d most want to have dinner with… I would love to have a conversation with Bach, I feel like he would be a fun chat and less grumpy than his portrait suggests!

If I were stuck on an elevator and If you were stuck on an elevator and had to listen to one song forever, what would it be… I could listen to the Beatles sing “Let it Be” over and over again, I don’t think I would get tired of it!

Music is…healthy.
